Mazda Extended Warranties
Mazda is one of the largest car manufacturers in Japan and the world. They are known for their stylish looks, enjoyable driving experience, and low running costs, making them a popular car for many. With popular models like the MX-5, Mazda6 and the CX-5 SUV, there’s good reason to ensure your car is protected against unforeseen repairs and failures. At Warranty First, we offer a comprehensive range of extended car repair plans that go beyond when the standard manufacturer’s cover ends.
What is an extended repair plan?
Extended repair plans safeguard your Mazda against any mechanical and electrical failures that can arise after your factory repair cover expires. It’s a service contract that provides coverage for repairs and replacements, ensuring your Mazda remains in top-notch condition.
Why are extended car repair plans important?
Car repairs can be expensive. An extended repair plan ensures you won’t have to dig deep into your pockets when unexpected issues arise. It also provides you with peace of mind knowing your Mazda is protected meaning you can hit the road with confidence.
An extended car repair plan can also increase the resale value of your car as potential buyers are often willing to pay more for a vehicle with cover in place.
What’s covered by our Mazda extended repair plans?
At Warranty First, we understand that your Mazda is more than just a car; it's a companion on your journey. That's why our extended repair plans are designed to offer extensive protection, so that you can drive your Mazda with confidence and peace of mind.
Key areas we cover:
- Engine and drive train: Our Mazda extended cover provides coverage for the heart of your vehicle – the engine and drive train. This includes protection against unexpected failures and repairs to keep your vehicle running smoothly.
- Multi-media components: In today's tech-focused world, the multimedia components of your Mazda are vital for entertainment, navigation, and connectivity. Our plans cover these components to ensure that you stay connected and entertained on the road.
- Electrics: Modern vehicles rely heavily on electrical systems. Our Mazda extended repair plans include coverage for electrical components, safeguarding against potential issues that may arise.
We also cover a wide range of other potential failures, including but not limited to brakes, steering, gearboxes, fuel systems, and clutch. You can browse our full range of extended repair plans online to find the one that meets your needs.
Our repair plan range for Mazda.
Our plans are built around how a vehicle is powered, because a petrol Mazda and an electric one do not fail in the same way. Fuel type picks the family. Age and mileage pick the tier.
Journey. For petrol and diesel.
For petrol and diesel cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Journey Core. Any age. Any mileage. Cover across the key mechanical and electrical components, including the older and higher mileage vehicles most plans will not take.
- Journey. Up to 12 years or 120,000 miles. Everything Core protects, then further into the vehicle, including air conditioning, ABS, ECUs, turbo, fuel and ignition, plus extended wear and tear.
- Journey+. Up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Our widest petrol and diesel cover. If the manufacturer fitted it, Journey+ considers it unless it is specifically excluded.
Drive. For hybrids.
For HEV, PHEV and MHEV, built around the hybrid drivetrain itself rather than adapted from a petrol plan.
- Drive. Up to 12 years or 120,000 miles. Cover built around the hybrid drivetrain, including regenerative braking and the hybrid transmission. While the manufacturer's battery warranty is live, the manufacturer holds the battery and Drive protects the rest of the vehicle.
- Drive+. Up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Everything in Drive, plus the high voltage battery and electric motor brought into cover, whether or not the manufacturer's battery warranty is still running.
Charge. For fully electric.
Built around what an electric vehicle actually runs on, not a combustion plan with the engine crossed out.
- Charge. Up to 12 years or 120,000 miles. Cover across the drive motor, inverter, charging system, power delivery and the electrical components that carry the real risk on an EV. While the manufacturer's battery warranty is live, the manufacturer holds the battery and motor on its own terms.
- Charge+. Up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Everything in Charge, plus the high voltage battery, electric drive motors and power delivery brought into cover, whether or not the manufacturer's battery warranty is still running.
Which plan fits your Mazda?
The right tier depends on the age and mileage of the vehicle. Talk to our team and we will work out which plan fits, and what it covers in full. Full terms are set out in the plan booklet and available on request.
