Lexus Extended Warranties
Sitting under the Toyota umbrella is Lexus, a luxury car brand famed for models such as the 500H and the NX. Their reliability is one of the features of the Lexus that owners of them love, which is why it makes unexpected failures all the more of a sudden inconvenience. That’s when an extended car repair plan can swoop in and save the day, providing a financial safety net in the same way as the Lexus repair cover did when the car was new.
What is an extended car repair plan?
Once that aforementioned Lexus cover has finished, you’re no longer protected against unexpected faults. An extended car repair plan can take over, providing additional cover for your car after the standard manufacturer's warranty has come to an end. This means that you can motor on in your Lexus, safe in the knowledge that a range of its components are protected against - peace of mind and reassurance guaranteed.
What does our Lexus extended repair plan cover?
The repair plans that we offer for Lexus owners cover vital components within your car - these include:
- Engine and drivetrain: Protecting against transmission failures so that the cost of drivetrain, clutch or engine malfunction is covered can go a long way to keeping you worry-free on the road - and it’s our pleasure to make this happen.
- Multimedia: A capped contribution towards multimedia components means that a failure in your car’s infotainment system doesn’t have to be the end of the world - we know you want to stay connected and entertained while you’re out and about.
- Electrics: Failures within your car’s electrical systems can be annoying and expensive, but with our Lexus repair plans, we’ve got these covered too. Our wide network of garages can have your electrics working as they should in no time.
Our repair plan range for Lexus.
Our plans are built around how a vehicle is powered, because a petrol Lexus and an electric one do not fail in the same way. Fuel type picks the family. Age and mileage pick the tier.
Journey. For petrol and diesel.
For petrol and diesel cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Journey Core. Any age. Any mileage. Cover across the key mechanical and electrical components, including the older and higher mileage vehicles most plans will not take.
- Journey. Up to 12 years or 120,000 miles. Everything Core protects, then further into the vehicle, including air conditioning, ABS, ECUs, turbo, fuel and ignition, plus extended wear and tear.
- Journey+. Up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Our widest petrol and diesel cover. If the manufacturer fitted it, Journey+ considers it unless it is specifically excluded.
Drive. For hybrids.
For HEV, PHEV and MHEV, built around the hybrid drivetrain itself rather than adapted from a petrol plan.
- Drive. Up to 12 years or 120,000 miles. Cover built around the hybrid drivetrain, including regenerative braking and the hybrid transmission. While the manufacturer's battery warranty is live, the manufacturer holds the battery and Drive protects the rest of the vehicle.
- Drive+. Up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Everything in Drive, plus the high voltage battery and electric motor brought into cover, whether or not the manufacturer's battery warranty is still running.
Charge. For fully electric.
Built around what an electric vehicle actually runs on, not a combustion plan with the engine crossed out.
- Charge. Up to 12 years or 120,000 miles. Cover across the drive motor, inverter, charging system, power delivery and the electrical components that carry the real risk on an EV. While the manufacturer's battery warranty is live, the manufacturer holds the battery and motor on its own terms.
- Charge+. Up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. Everything in Charge, plus the high voltage battery, electric drive motors and power delivery brought into cover, whether or not the manufacturer's battery warranty is still running.
