The UK's best-selling vans

  • The UK's best-selling vans

If you’re not already aware, here at Warranty First, it’s not just cars that we look after - we cover vans too! That means that we know a thing or two about those small commercial vehicles on which so many rely; from trades to dog walkers!

What makes a best-selling van?

Reliable

When your income depends on getting from A to B, you’ll want a van that doesn’t leave you high and dry.

Comfortable

Spending a lot of time on the road means that you’ll want to be at home in your van; a well laid out cabin with comfortable seats is just what you need!

Spacious

Chances are, you need to carry a fair amount of items, so not only does the van need the capacity to accomodate it all, but also easy access through which to load it.

Economical

In times such as these, everyone is looking to make savings, so getting a van that won’t let you down on monthly spend is a bonus.

What are the UK’s best-selling vans?

Ford Transit

The ultimate all-rounder; from a reliable worker to the campervan of your dreams, the Ford Transit can do it all, which is why so many people opt for them as their van of choice! Ford has spent a lot of time getting the Transit just right so that it can withstand what everyday life on the road throws at it. It’s pretty customisable too!

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

The Sprinter is a versatile, spacious vehicle that comes in a wide range of spec levels, trims and wheelbase variations. In-van tech in the Sprinter is up there with the best, thanks to a 7.5inch touch screen fitted as standard to recent diesel models, as well as cruise control and Sat Nav.

Vauxhall Vivaro

You could do a lot worse than the sturdy, mid-size Vivaro, particularly if you’re new to van driving - it’s extremely user-friendly! They’re good on fuel, easy to drive, and two different length options are handy depending on how much cargo you carry daily.

Volkswagen Transporter

The Volkswagen Transporter is one of the better-looking vans on the road, with some options that are, if you’re into vans, pretty stunning. It’s not just a pretty face though; there are plenty of safety features, infotainment and driver convenience built in.

Citroen Berlingo

The Berlingo offers a solution to those that need more space than an SUV can provide, but not the bulkiness of a full-blown van. Despite their smaller size, they’re deceptively spacious and strong, and fitted with plenty of safety and driver convenience tech. They’re ideal if you’re looking for a van on a budget!
