In order to keep a policy validated, it is a condition you must keep your vehicle serviced in line with the manufacturer’s service schedule by a VAT registered garage.
Failure to follow the service schedule may invalidate your claim, and that is the last thing we want to happen. Speak to one of the Warranty First advisers who can provide more information.
By ensuring that your vehicle is serviced in line with the manufacture's service schedule, you will enhance its efficiency and be more likely to achieve trouble free motoring.
If your vehicle has been serviced correctly in line with the manufacturer’s service schedule and services/works have been carried out at the correct dates and mileage, please ensure you keep your vehicle maintained and serviced in this manner. Please note you will need to retain proof of your service history book and all relating invoices, as this may be required in the event of a claim.
If you have purchased your vehicle without any previous service history maintenance records, please ensure that the correct service is carried out commensurate with the current mileage of your vehicle to the manufacturer's minimum standards. This must be done within 1,000 miles or 30 days whichever comes sooner of ownership. Warranty First reserves the right to request a copy of a VAT invoice(s) with stipulated mileage recordings, date, time, technician name and details of the service work carried out should a claim arise and can investigate to confirm validity of the service stamp.
In the event of a claim, Warranty First reserves the right to inspect your vehicle at any time through an independent assessor/garage.
Be safe and have your vehicle maintained
